Dave - The Owner
Dave has been involved in the outdoor trade since leaving school. He was initially employed as a shop assistant for an independent retailer based in Colchester where he was encouraged to try out and test the equipment on regular occasions, often in the middle of winter in such places as the Lake District. He later spent time on the road employed as a manufacturers agent & then returned to retail, eventually setting up Action Outdoors in Ipswich.
Dave is an active walker and climber and likes to get away to warmer climates for trekking trips when time permits.

 | Mark - Business Development
Mark is responsible for the website and all aspects of business development having joined Action Outdoors in 2009 after 27 years working for BT.
Mark is interested in many aspects of outdoor life. He can be found bird watching on the Norfolk coast, walking and climbing throughout the UK and Europe and more recently, mountain biking in the Alps.

David - Retail Sales / Despatch
Joining in April 2010, David is the newest member of staff and found his job here while equipping himself
with gear for a trek along the Great Wall of China.
He has always had a passion for the outdoors, stemming from family camping holidays and then immersing himself
into mountain bike racing as a teen. He is very keen on travel in general and has been on trips to New Zealand,
China and Europe.
More recently he has had a taste of snowboarding, rock climbing and via ferrata in the French and Swiss Alps.
