These crampons are designed to stop slips on pavements and flat trails. The Dual Traction Snow Grabbers and the YakTrax products are NOT suitable for use in the hills!
The Kahtoola Micro Spikes offer more traction than the other crampons in this section, and are designed to fit between Pavement Crampons and traditional Flexible 10-point Crampons. It is essential that the end user assess whether these items are suitable for the terrain being crossed.
