Engineered from Tilley Nylamtium®, a strong water-and-mildew resistant form of nylon. The LTM6 has a broader brim and a taller crown than all the other Tilleys.
Front and Back: 3 1/4"
Sides: 2 1/2"
If you give us your head's measurement (inches or centimetres) on the Sizing Guide on the website, we'll give you the right size. Or refer to our Hat Sizing Chart for the easy reference to your Tilley Hat size.
HERE'S WHY TILLEY HATS ARE ACKNOWLEDGED 'THE BEST IN THE WORLD.'
APPEARANCE AND COMFORT:
To protect you from the sun and rain, Tilleys fit lower than other hats. This also tends to give one a rather dashing appearance!
For your comfort, they're held on by gravity, not painful pressure on your forehead. On a hot muggy day, you'll especially appreciate this!
Even though they fit gently, Tilleys won't fly off because when there's a breeze, you use one or both parts of the tuckaway Wind Cord (see TIES ON below).
Like your footwear, your Tilley hat should be sized properly, then it will fit comfortably. To find your Tilley hat size, use a tape to measure just above the eyebrows, (the widest part of the head) and pull fairly firmly. Then use the measurement to work out your size from the table below (If you already know your hat size, you will be one size larger in a Tilley)
