Why Hemp? Not only do Tilley's Hemp Hats look great, but they have a soft linen-like look with a 'tough as nails attitude'. In fact, Hemp is the world's strongest natural fibre. It is breathable, and naturally resistant to UV light, mould, mildew and salt water. Tilley Hemp fabric has been tested and certified as having a UPF 50+; this is the maximum UV protection rating given.

Like your footwear, your Tilley hat should be sized properly, then it will fit comfortably. To find your Tilley hat size, use a tape to measure just above the eyebrows, (the widest part of the head) and pull fairly firmly. Then use the measurement to work out your size from the table below (If you already know your hat size, you will be one size larger in a Tilley)
