The Black Diamond Satellite mat has been produced as a compact mat. The mat can be used either to help cover extra areas in addition to one of the larger mats or as a compact mat for use training, in small cars or prehaps just smaller people. Like all Black Diamond mats attention has been taken to detail. The hinge of the mat is not totaly un protected as in many mats. What Franklin have done with this mat is to split the bottom layer of foam at the hinge but not the top layer keeping the seam protected. This mat has corner closures with metal buckles so if you land on them you wont break them.
