The DMM Cardiac Arrester has two rates of descent one side gives you more friction for use with skinny ropes or you can flip it over and the otherside will give you less friction for use with fatter ropes eg 11mm.The connexion hole at the bottom of the device is oval to help avoid akward cross loading of the karabiner.
