There are many copies of the Thermarest self inflating mat but I still use the original, yes is costs more initially but I have had my Thermarest ultralight for nearly 15 years. For many of those years it has been used for extended periods of up to 3 months. I also have the chair kit - I don't go camping without it. The comfort and relaxation it provides when cooking or eating is well worth its small weight in any pack or pannier... mine lives in my tent pole bag to make sure I don't leave it behind
Thermarest technology has moved on & I would have replaced my Thermarest for a newer lighter Thermarest prolite but my old ultralight still functions perfectly! I am happy to be able to offer all our Thermarest range at very competitive prices.
